Lori Parro, CPA, MBA Chief Financial Officer (fractional) Ms. Parro has served as the lead finance executive for a number of life sciences, pharmaceutical, drug development, medical device, and contract research companies over the course of her 30-year career. Many of her client companies have been long-term engagements in which she has overseen financial, tax, cash management, budgetary and audit aspects of the business. Ms. Parro has extensive expertise in startup incorporation, corporate funding, IP licensing and transfer, business planning, and growth management. She has dealt with government accounting, compliance issues around Federal contracts and SBIR/STTR grants. Recently, Ms. Parro successfully led the exit of the $220M acquisition by Stryker of HyperBranch Medical Technology, a VC-backed company she helped grow over 12 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from North Carolina State University and received an MBA from NC State Poole College of Management. |
