Mike Skawinski Scientific Advisor Mr. Skawinski provides scientific input and guidance to Assay Services and Manufacturing staff, and has direct reporting responsibility for the company’s Quality department. He in intimately familiar with the science and technology employed by PBL, having genetically engineered, produced, and purified proteins and antibodies in microbial and human-cell expression systems; and developed and executed cell-based assays and immunoassays on single-analyte and multiplex platforms. Mr. Skawinski began as an intern in genetic engineering and protein biochemistry at PBL while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Rutgers University. He has been promoted 7 times over 24 years and has occupied positions including Protein Science Group Leader; Director, Product Development; and Chief Operations Officer. |
