| Thomas Lavoie, Ph.D. Biomarker Consultant Dr. Lavoie presently serves PBL in a consulting capacity following his retirement as Chief Scientific Officer after 20 years at the company. During his time as PBL, his emphasis on Quality helped establish the company’s reputation as a supplier of reliable, high-quality products and services. Insights from his experience developing immunoassays and providing biomarkers services to clients have helped expedite many biomarkers and drug development programs Upon joining PBL as Section Head, Protein Biochemistry, Dr. Lavoie supported the company’s Kits & Reagents business through the purification and characterization of interferons and monoclonal antibodies. He also developed purification schemes and cell-based assays aimed at developing more potent/selective interferons as therapeutic agents. |
