Thomas Lavoie, Ph.D. Biomarker Consultant Dr. Lavoie presently serves PBL in a consulting capacity following his retirement as Chief Scientific Officer after 20 years at the company. During his time as PBL, his emphasis on Quality helped establish the company’s reputation as a supplier of reliable, high-quality products and services. Upon joining PBL as Section Head, Protein Biochemistry, Dr. Lavoie supported the company’s Kits & Reagents business through the purification and characterization of interferons and monoclonal antibodies. He also developed purification schemes and cell-based assays aimed at developing more potent/selective interferons as therapeutic agents. |
